Then in 1986 that president went off to bomb Libya, and in 1987 the unpopular government won another landslide.

The main opposition party were rubbish then too
In 1985 there was a party advocating cuts in income tax and going on about the burden of regulation. I think they were the Conservatives and we stood against them. How times change...
